Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills Receives CSR Award 2023

PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills has been honored with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award 2023 from the Karawang Regency Government.

This prestigious award was personally presented by the Karawang Regency Secretary, Acep Jamhuri, to Andar Tarihoran, a representative of PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills, in recognition of the company's active participation in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the Karawang region.

This award represents the Karawang Regency Government's appreciation for the outstanding role and initiatives demonstrated by PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills in its social and environmental responsibilities in Karawang.

Karawang Regency Secretary Acep Jamhuri explained that CSR is a strong commitment by companies to contribute to sustainable economic development aimed at improving the quality of life and the environment, providing significant benefits to the company, the local community, and society as a whole.

"The CSR programs and activities implemented by companies are not merely focused on charity but are more about sustainable initiatives that positively impact all levels of society and support Karawang Regency's development programs," said Acep Jamhuri yesterday, September 21, 2023.

He further noted that these programs also provide opportunities to explore the potential of creative economies and local resources, creating a productive business environment for the community.

Andar Tarihoran, representing PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills, affirmed the company's commitment to continue growing and developing alongside the surrounding communities.

"CSR programs play a central role in improving the company's performance and achieving community welfare," said Andar Tarihoran.

He also highlighted that in 2023, PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills competed with 116 other companies and managed to enter Group 1 as the second rank in terms of the largest contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Andar expressed his gratitude to the Karawang Regency Government for the award given to PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills, stating that this recognition would motivate the company to continue giving its best.

He hopes that this award will encourage the continuation of all CSR programs and help achieve sustainable development goals in the areas served by PT Pindo Deli.
