Sodium Hypochlorite
Sodium Hypochlorite (NaClO) is a pale greenish-yellow, strongly oxidizing solutions. It is widely used as bleaching, disinfecting and oxidizing agents. Sodium hypochlorite is also commonly used in the pretreatment of cooling water to prevent biofouling/disinfectant in water treatment system.
